In the summer of 2008, Sidra Bell Dance New York had several successful performances at Baryshnikov Arts Center, CityParks Dance Festival and St. Marks Church. The performances featured SBDNY artists, including Roderick George (Ballett Basel), Shamel Pitts (bjm_danse), and actor Robbie Sublett. A special thanks to all that came to support our efforts!

New Works by Sidra Bell
AILEY II
Sidra Bell began creating a new work for Ailey II in the summer of 2008. The new work, "Valse", features an original score by Dennis Bell, with instrumentation by Victor See Yuen (percussion) and Adiza Sanchez-Rahim (viola), and will premiere in Ailey II's 2008-2009 season. www.alvinailey.org
THE JUILLIARD SCHOOL Sidra Bell will begin creating a new work for The Juillard School for "New Dances 2008". Original score by Dennis Bell with live music by students of the Juilliard Music Division. The work will premiere at the Peter J. Sharp Theater from Dec. 10-14, 2008.
STELLA ADLER STUDIO OF ACTING On faculty at Stella Adler Studio of Acting teaching "Physical Dynamics for Actors."
